Welcome Dr. Venus Tran to Downtown Dental Associates

We’re excited to introduce Dr. Venus Tran, DMD, MS—the newest member of our team at Downtown Dental Associates, your downtown Portland dentists.

Dr. Tran brings a passion for patient-first dentistry and a wealth of experience. After earning her degrees from Boston University and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, she completed advanced training at Louisiana State University Medical Center and the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System in New Orleans. There, she honed her skills in oral surgery, emergency dental care, and working with patients who needed specialized hospital-based dentistry.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Tran is deeply committed to community service. From organizing care in Boston’s Chinatown to leading international dental trips, she’s always focused on expanding access to oral health. Her goal is simple: to treat every patient like family, with clear explanations, personalized care plans, and a gentle touch.

When she’s not in the office, you’ll find Dr. Tran exploring Portland’s food scene, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
